You discover Johnny Longnose...

 at his lowest, when he stumbles into a local paint shop.

Behind the counter is an older woman named Nanapants who looks at Johnny as if she's been waiting for him. Her smile is soft and she recognizes the pain in Johnny's eyes.

After a cup of saffron tea, Johnny pours his heart out to her about how his home was destroyed by "The Storm of the Century”.

Nana listens and listens and when Johnny is finished, breathing heavy with tears in his eyes... Nana tells him a story.

The story of: The Fish That Climbed a Tree.

Because of this, Johnny is inspired to keep going when things get hard.

When he wants to give up, he remembers the mantra:

"fish climbs tree, fish climbs tree, fish climbs tree"

It doesn't mean try harder, it just means don't give up...keep going.
